Nuclear Attack Scenarios from WarGames (1983) I just finished listening to Ready Player One 2011 and it was great. It reminded me of one of my favorite movies, WarGame (1983). Of course, I began to wonder about all Nuclear Attack Scenarios from WarGames (1983) in the famous last scene. I had never taken the time to watch it all in slo-mo to get the names. The 6 Greatest Jimmy Buffett Films

Let me start out saying that I am a huge Jimmy Buffett fan. I not quite a full-blown parrot-head but leaning that way. I have seen him in concert at least six times and own his complete catalog, even the before the beach stuff.  Jimmy Buffett’s music helped me survive three long cold winters in Germany. I would walk around in the snow at night while on guard duty singing “Come Monday” or “He Went to Paris.”  This kept my mind focused on the warmer part of life and living the coastal lifestyle. When I returned from Germany, I attended the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg like Jimmy Buffett had done many years before. Of course Hattiesburg is my hometown as I am not a coast rat. When I was compiling this list I noticed something odd. Four of the six titles were one word: Hook (1991), Cobb (1994), Congo (1995), and Hoot (2006). The other two titles only had two word titles. I’m not sure what that means. Is there…

Top 100 War Movies

All Quiet on the Western Front (1930)

Putting a list of the Top 100 War Movies of all times was a daunting task. After I entered my primary titles I has 133 films. The problem with these list is they are basically opinions and anyone could find fault with my reasoning. With that said I will push on with my list of the Top 100 War Movies. I have a reason and I will try to explain that in the narrative. Also I was surprised how many of these movies actually had an anti-war theme. What I learned – never do more than 25 in a list. Some great movies ended up ranked in the 70s and 80s. I am issuing you a challenge to add comments for the movies that I have inadvertently left off the list!
