Today’s movie is They Came to Cordura (1959). I’m going to do a lot of background on the historical events related to this movie. Francisco “Pancho” Villa was a Mexican Revolutionary general that lived for 1878 – 1923. Villa was the commander of the División del Norte. He was quite successful for a time fighting the Federal forces of usurper Victoriano Huerta. Following two major loses in 1915 Villa’s forces were in tatters.
